Friday June 19th
1:30pm History Talk & Hike:
Come hear the fascinating story of how Cedars of Lebanon came to be a park by visiting some old park buildings! Meet at the Nature Center.
5:00pm Afternoon Hike:
Unfamiliar with the park? Live close by and want to learn more? A guided hike is the perfect way to learn more about the plants, animals and history of the park. Meet at the Park Office for an easy 0.5 mile walk.
7:00pm Movie Night! “Over the Hedge”
Watch as our friendly woodland creatures venture into the world of people. Come to the Nature Center to kick back, relax and enjoy the show. Please no food in the Nature Center, popcorn and chairs will be provided. Only drinks with screw top lids will be permitted. (All ages)
Saturday June 20th
10:30am Story-time:
Join us in the Nature Center for a Native American story about the slow and steady turtle. Stay afterwards if you like for the turtle talk! (All ages)
11:00am Turtle talk:
Stop by the Nature Center for a short talk about our state reptile: the Box Turtle! Learn all about what makes him. (All ages)
4:00pm Cave Talk & Walk:
Hiding under our feet is an underground honeycomb of caves that offer a very unique ecosystem; home to some strange and interesting animals. Meet at the Nature Center wearing sturdy shoes for a short walk to the entrance of two very different and historically important caves.
