7:00 PM- Nature Critter Feeders-  There is no better way to get to see some of our park’s birds and wildlife than by hanging out one of these.  Campers of all ages come meet Ranger Nathan at the Amphitheater and transform a regular pinecone into an extraordinary nature attractor.

Saturday, August 16

2:00 PM- Take a Hike-  Tired of sitting around the campsite?  Meet Ranger Nathan at the Nature trail parking lot for this easy but fun .5-mile hike.  As we walk  Ranger Nathan will talk about some of our parks historical significance.

6:00 PM- Slithering Friends-  Ever wanted to know about snakes, what they do, or where they live?  If so, meet Ranger Melissa down at the Amphitheater for this awesome live snake show.

8:30 PM- Campground Games-  Who knows what all we will get into.  Maybe some running, maybe some water balloons.  No matter what we do you are guaranteed to have fun.  Meet Ranger Nathan in the field by Area-A campground to join in the fun.

Saturday, August 2

9:00 AM- Heart Hike-  Join Ranger Nathan at the Nature trail for this healthy way to start the day.  We will do this easy half-mile hike and talk about some of the history of our park.

1:30 PM- Pool-A-Palooza-  Meet Ranger Nathan at the deep end of the swimming pool for this refreshing competition.  We will have big splash, best trick, and fastest swimmer contests.  Winners will receive a free day pass to our pool.  All participants must pay the swim fee!

3:00 PM- Snake-A-Palooza-  Meet Ranger Melissa at the amphitheater for this amazing snake show.  Learn more about some of these harder to find friends of our parks.
